Julia Robinson

Julia Robinson, DNP, RN, FNP-C, GCNS-BC

DEAN EMERITUS

Julia Robinson, DNP, RN, FNP-C, GCNS-BC, is Dean Emeritus and a professor at University of Nursing in Murrieta, California. Dr. Julia Robinson is a board-certified family nurse practitioner/ geriatric clinical nurse specialist and registered nurse with over 25 years of nursing experience and 14 years of teaching and administrative experience in pre-and post-licensure nursing programs.

Dr. Robinson has practiced and taught in the areas of medical-surgical, geriatrics, intermediate care, oncology, obstetrics, and pediatrics. She has held many leadership roles in both clinical practice and the academic setting. She also brings experience with program and curriculum design/development and utilizes new innovative approaches to meet the needs of today’s students.

Dr. Robinson’s teaching philosophy is to provide a safe student-centered educational environment that fosters learning, growth, development of skills, and the confidence needed to succeed. She also has a deep passion for mentoring Master and Doctoral students during their project/study phase through dissertation and defense.
