Amil Alzubaidi, BA, MA, MFT
PROFESSOR, ONLINE STUDIES
Mr. Amil Alzubaidi is Professor of Online Studies at UUN. He has been married for 26 years and has two children. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1999 from National University, and he completed his Master’s degree in 2001 from the University of San Diego in Marriage and Family Therapy. While at USD, he completed his training with San Diego Children’s Hospital and was then recruited by the Riverside County Department of Mental Health as an intern specializing with children, adolescents, and families. Amil has also served as a private practice Marriage and Family Therapist since 2006.
Amil has worked in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District, Temecula Valley Unified School District, and Irvine Unified School District in various administrative positions related to special education and mental health. He currently serves as the Director of Special Education for the Perris Union High School District, and he eagerly joins UUN to promote mental health awareness and impart his experience in special education.
