Mark Pahls, Ed.D., M.S., M.B.A., B.S.

PROFESSOR, ONLINE STUDIES

Mark Pahls, Ed.D., M.S., M.B.A., B.S. joins UNC as a multi-talented, well-qualified, interactive professor. Dr. Pahls has been teaching courses online since 2006 and has taught every level of online mathematics from Basic Math to Ph.D. Stats II. He earned his undergraduate degree in mathematics and computer science from Fort Hays State University, earned an MBA in Leadership from Fort Hays State University, a Masters in Applied Statistics from the University of Kansas Medical Center, and completed his doctorate from the University of Kansas in Health Sport and Exercise Science.

Most of Dr. Pahls' online teaching experience has been in graduate nursing, and he has been the first and only online statistics instructor for Fort Hays State University since the inception of its DNP program. He also teaches for and works with graduate students at the University of Missouri, the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Regis College, and Maryville University. Dr. Pahls continues to serve as a statistical consultant for Ph.D. and DNP projects, and he is very comfortable working with all students, regardless of their backgrounds or confidence in their mathematical or analytical skills.
