Roxanna Stead, DNP, BSN, RN, PHN, FNP

NURSE FACULTY

Roxanna Stead, DNP, BSN, RN, PHN, FNP, is a Clinical Nursing Instructor at United Nursing College in Murrieta, California. Her focus and passion are to foster an educational environment that bridges theory with practice, equipping students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in healthcare.

Dr. Stead has 22 years of nursing experience in various environments, including emergency room, trauma, telemetry, medical-surgical, ortho, hospice and most recently house support as a critical care resource team RN. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from College of the Desert in 2001, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from California State University of Dominguez Hills in 2009, and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in 2022 from Loma Linda University School of Nursing. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Public Health Nurse (PHN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). As a lifelong learner and advocate for professional development, Dr. Stead looks forward to sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm with United Nursing College future nurses.
